Warping Point has introduced the next evolution of Nightblade, bringing two new full-foam builds to players through the brand’s newly launched Horizon Lab platform. The updated Nightblade lineup explores two distinct approaches to power and response, while Horizon Lab gives players earlier access to selected product concepts and a more direct role in real-world testing and feedback.
Warping Point today announced the release of the next evolution of Nightblade, featuring two distinct full-foam builds developed to deliver different approaches to power and response. The new lineup debuts through Horizon Lab, Warping Point’s platform for early access, on-court testing, and player-informed product development.
Horizon Lab gives Warping Point a more open way to share selected stages of product development with players. Through early access and real-world testing, players can experience new ideas earlier and provide feedback that may help shape future iterations.

“Nightblade gave us the right opportunity to open up more of the development process,” said Isaac Gu, Founder of Warping Point. “Instead of asking players to only see the finished result, Horizon Lab lets them experience new ideas earlier, share how those ideas feel on court, and become part of how they evolve.”
Not every experiment is meant to follow the same path. Some concepts may evolve into something entirely different, while others may remain valuable explorations of what’s possible.
“We want to put those ideas on the court, learn from real players, and see where they can go," Gu said.
Bringing Players Into Nightblade’s Evolution
For the new Nightblade release, that approach takes the form of two builds developed around one question: How should power feel? Rather than presenting a single answer, Warping Point is giving players the opportunity to experience two different responses on court and share what works for their game.
Horizon Lab will also clearly communicate the development and certification status of each build, giving players the information they need before choosing a build.

The updated Nightblade lineup answers that question through two distinct full-foam builds.
Nightblade 01 is the faster, more direct build, designed for quicker energy release and a more immediate response. It launches as a Pre-Cert Edition while it undergoes the UPA-A certification process.
Nightblade 02 takes a deeper, more stable approach to power, with a more composed response under pressure. It is an experimental Horizon Lab build with no current plans to pursue UPA-A certification.
By releasing both builds together, Warping Point gives players the opportunity to experience two different approaches to power rather than positioning one response as the answer for every player.

An Early-Access Benefit for the First 100
The first 100 eligible customers who purchase the Nightblade 01 Pre-Cert Edition will have the opportunity to purchase the certified production version for $29.99 once it becomes available.
The offer is designed to recognize the first players who choose to experience the new Nightblade before certification is complete.
From Player Feedback to Product Evolution
Horizon Lab gives Warping Point a dedicated space to share selected stages of product development with players—from early access and field testing to feedback and iteration.
For Nightblade, that means giving players access to two distinct builds, listening to how each performs across different playing styles, and using those insights as part of the product development process.
The goal is to bring real on-court experience closer to the decisions that shape what comes next.
Horizon Lab will clearly communicate the development and certification status of each release. For the current Nightblade launch, Nightblade 01 is being offered as a Pre-Cert Edition while its UPA-A certification process is underway. Nightblade 02 is an experimental build and is not currently planned for certification.
